Kelly Bensimon Stops By "Good Day New York"

Celebrity-Gossip.net:
Tending to promotional duties, Bravo darling and mogul-in-the-making Kelly Bensimon stopped by "Good Day New York" this morning (August 25).

Showing off her super-svelte physique, the 43-year-old reality show stunner donned a body-hugging black mini-dress, chunky black and gold jewelry pieces and a pair of bright orange peep-toe pumps for her press stop.

Readying the release of her fashion accessories line, Kelly, the September cover girl for Shape magazine sported some of her stylish new offerings - of which she hinted will debut in major department stores in the coming months.

When asked if she'll be returning to "Real Housewives of New York City" next season, the leggy mom of two said she'd love to, and even dished that she's invited some of her closest gal pals to audition for a spot on the show!

Jill Zarin: I'm Not Leaving Real Housewives of NYC

Like we didn't know this already. Jill Zarin may be an evil and manipulative gold-digger who roots for the underdog (as long as you stay far below her level), snitches rumors to the press and posts anonymous comments on blogs, but love her or hate her, even I can admit that RHONYC wouldn't be the same without her:
And Jill is telling you -- she's not going!

After the New York Post's Page Six reported that Jill Zarin was getting the booted from the Real Housewives of New York when season five debuts next year, the redhead reality star set the record straight to Us Weekly on Monday.

"The rumors about Bravo dropping me from The Real Housewives of New York City as well as rumors that I am leaving the show are simply not true," Zarin, 48, told Us.

"Everything that has been reported is simply rumors, gossip and speculation. I personally have been busy with my shapewear line, Skweez Couture and am still very much part of the Bravo family."

Proof that she's sticking around? Zarin is among the housewives who'll be hitting the road on the first-ever Real Housewives Tour announced Monday. She'll appear with Atlanta's NeNe Leakes, NJ's Melissa Gorga and Miami's Marysol Patton in Atlanta, GA on Oct. 15.

Adds fellow housewife Kelly Bensimon to Us about all the casting rumors: "As far as I'm concerned no one knows what's going on," she says. "Every single event, party, house that I go to, there is a woman telling me they're going to be the next housewife!"

"All I can say is that I've had a blast doing it [and] how grateful I am!"

'Real Housewives of New York' Reunion Part 1 Recap: Ramona Won, Hands Down

Wow, gotta admit that made for great TV, any wonder RHONY remains my favorite 'Housewives' show. The 'Blondes vs. The Brunettes' saga stayed intriguing all season long, but who knew how bitter things would get between the two teams, so much so that I can't see them making up or anyone swtiching sides anytiem soon. That said, I thought Andy Cohen did a tremendous job under what had to be very trying circumstances--he asked all the right questions and called out the 'Housewives' who were clearly being hypocritical. Now granted, I'm definitely with Team Blonde, so call me biased, but here's what I thought of what went down last night anyway:
1) Alex was clearly ready to do battle, getting in on every turn and interrupting Team Brunette members every chance she could get. But I liked how the brunettes tried to play "Ramonja" against Alex, because they're not that close to Alex and Alex desperately wants to be down with the rich, blonde girls (Jill was at her best here, making snide little comments referring to Alex and Sonja not really being that close, but she took it to another level getting nasty and calling Alex an "effing bitch" twice). And while Kelly, LuAnn and Cindy did their best to throw some shots at Alex too (and get her to speak only when spoken to) Alex did get in some great zingers, including the line of the night telling Cindy how she "needs to get laid". However, the problem with Alex still remains her inability to stay calm while making a zinger (practice by watching some tapes of Bethenny when she throws darts) and clearly as long as Simon stays by her side, people will always have a valid reason to not like her (can we please get Alex some friends?).

2) I don't care what "Cosmo" says, Crazy Kelly remains a nutcase. I loved when Andy smacked her down when she was supposedly trying to play "peacemaker" while Cindy and Sonja went at it. And that B.S. story about being "abused"? I'm not buying it, esp. considering that the woman has been arrested before for beating up a guy. Nor am I buying that Kelly isn't phased at all by Bethenny's success. That said, I could go either way on Kelly coming back next season--no one could say she's not entertaining.

3) Ramona, to me, was hands down the winner tonight. She took on the Brunettes with gutso, zeal and plenty of barbs that tore into the hearts of each of them--and she managed to stay calm throughout. Did she go too far talking about LuAnn's kids? Of course. But LuAnn went there first about Ramona's marriage while they were all in Morocco and we all know by now that when it comes to talking about Ramona's family she doesn't play. Ramona also got in some great shots at Cindy and Jill and for the most part put Kelly on ignore where she belongs.

4) Cindy is a bitch. I don't like her at all. She just refused to acknowledge that what she did at Sonja's house, taking that meeting in the kitchen, was flat-out wrong. I don't even have a problem with Cindy picking up her phone or having the stupid meeting, it's just simple etiquette to excuse yourself and ask if you can use another room. Then too, the woman clearly has anger issues--the way she shouts people down and talks down to them is just revolting. And as I've said from the beginning there's this air to her that makes you feel she really thinks she's better than "those people" (i.e. the Housewives)--please Bravo, just be done with her.

5) I just feel bad for Sonja and was surprised when she broke down about how much her marriage meant to her (tho I can't help but think that what she really misses is the lifestyle). Loved how she took down Kelly for talking about her house like that.

6) LuAnn did well for the most part, but she is in clear denial about how rude and unclassy she can be towards people. I liked how she even called out Cindy for taking the conference call in the kitchen at Sonja's. LuAnn may deny it too, but she also "found her voice" this year, esp, when it comes to reunion shows.

7) Compared to last season's reunion Jill had an easy time of it. Her current feud with Ramona doesn't look like it will end anytime soon, but somehow they always find a way to be friends again. That said I can't wait for Part 2.

Crazy Kelly Bensimon On What She Misses And Doesn't Miss About Bethenny Frankel

EOnline.com:
Real Housewife of New York Kelly Bensimon is happy for Bethenny Frankel's success and spinoff show. No, really.

"I love it when people do well," she told me during our exclusive interview with her as she showed us around East Hampton. "The better that she does, the better the franchise of Housewives does."

However, Bensimon did admit that she doesn't miss the pair's epic catfights, though she thinks other people do....

"Everybody...every single person...misses the altercations between Bethenny and I," she told me while showing me around Wolffer Estate Stables (where Sonja Morgan took an on-camera tumble while horseback riding with Kelly). "For whatever reason, they just love the fact that we fight for four minutes of television. Do I miss fighting with her? I don't like fighting. Do I miss her on the show? She was fun."

Kelly was in town this weekend for both work and fun. She hosted two parties this past weekend: one charity shopping event and another Havaianas flip-flop fete.

And the busy mom of two shared that she's currently dating a few eligible men.

"I'm actually just seeing a lot of different people and just doing the dating process," she shared over cocktails at Cyril's Fish House in Amagansett after we hit the beach. "I was married for such a long time and then I just took a break from just dating in general to get my feet firmly on the ground...now my girls are good and I'm feeling really good about where I am and life and work and everything and now I'm ready to bring someone into my life and share what I have."

Luann de Lesseps Is 'So Glad' Bethenny Left 'Housewives'

OMGYahoo.com:
Countess Luann de Lesseps is not shedding any tears over Bethenny Frankel.

"I'm so glad she's gone," she tells The Famous. "Oh, yeah. Let her go off with her husband, off into the sunset. God bless her."

Countess says filming Bravo's "Real Housewives of New York" without Frankel is easier on the cast -- especially Kelly Bensimon, whose sometimes bizarre behavior was endlessly mocked by the outspoken Skinnygirl entrepreneur.

"Kelly's been amazing this season, and I think you see the true Kelly," she says. "She got a really bad rap last season. Because, you know, it's hard to battle against Bethenny."

Frankel, a fan favorite and frequent voice of reason on the show, dropped out last year to star in her own spinoff, "Bethenny Ever After." Sans Frankel's spunk, the new season of "RHONY" is no less dramatic: Countess and Alex McCord constantly clash; McCord calls Countess "haughty," "condescending" and "vile" toward the cast.

"People do say that -- and I guess I can come off that way -- but it's not ill meaning or anything like that," says Countess, who calls McCord a "weirdo." "I guess it's just a different way of looking at it, and I'm not going to apologize for the way I am."
Yeah, it's Bethenny's fault Kelly has got such a bad rap, not Kelly's own weird, stupid, bizarre and criminal behavior when Bethenney was nowhere around. It's funny how Team Jill goes out of their way to try and make Kelly look sane, but each lame attempt just doesn't work on the rest of the country who sees Kelly for who she is: crazy. Anyway, if LuAnn thought being a total bitch this season would get her more attention it certainly worked.

TAO Behind The Scenes Interviews Crazy Kelly Bensimon

Alex McCord Lets Everyone Play Her For A Fool

So I just saw the last episode of RHONYC and just when you thought Alex was finally able to find her voice and speak up for herself she reverts back to her old, indefensible self. To think she had every reason to confront LuAnn, whose been siding with Jill against Ramona and Bethenny for over a year now and when Alex finally gets a chance to confront the Countless about her classless behavior and she blows it and allows LuAnn to totally bully her ("Go back to your cabinet. Witch"). And then, of course, why Alex (or anyone on the planet earth) would waste her time chasing after (and apologizing!) to a lunatic like Kelly ("Alex! Weird! Inauthentic! Weird! Alex Inauthentic!") and attempt to have a serious conversation with the mental case is anyone's guess. But worse yet, considering how much you'd think Alex would know Ramona by now, why she would take those crocodile tears that seriously and feel the need to be Ramona's spokeswoman was utterly esp. lame when you saw how quickly Ramona got over it. Alex you've been on the show too long to allow for kind of stuff to keep happening. Yet, throughout the show I couldn't help but wonder why Cindy, who does nothing these days but scowl and throw petty hissy fits, wouldn't rush to defend Alex...at least. Either way the whole thing was just pathetic to watch.

Crazy Kelly Bensimon Wants to Get Married and Have a Baby

Of course, she only came to this huge decision after a psychic told her it's time:
Kelly Bensimon went to Morocco on what she calls the "trip of a lifetime," but she could just as easily call it a life-changing trip.

During a birthday party there, the Real Housewives of New York City star met with a psychic – and got a pretty major prediction on the episode which aired last week.

"The psychic in French tells me I think too much, and that I am going to get married and I am going to have a baby," Bensimon, who has two daughters, Sea Louis, 12, and Thaddeus Ann, 10, told In the Mixx at Hamptons Magazine's Memorial Day Party at the Southampton Social Club. "This year I'm not going to have a baby but I'm going to be pregnant and I'm going to get married."

According to Kelly, her sit-down with the fortuneteller at the party wasn't just another parlor game. "I'm on it. I'm like, 'Okay, I'm doing my work. I have to start,' " she said. "Yes, I want to get married and have a baby."

Bensimon finds hope in other women who've made their dreams come true. "Just the other day we hear that Kim Kardashian is engaged," Kelly said. "She is so unbelievable and I have so much respect for her. And to be honest with you I'm not that jealous of many people – I'm just not a jealous person – but the fact that she's so happy and engaged and found true love [with NBA star Kris Humphries], I'm jealous. I am."

"It's amazing," Kelly continued. I'm just so happy for her ... She's wanted it, and that's just so exciting for her."
Yes Kelly, Kim Kardashian--a woman who came to fame thanks to a sex tape--is someone you should have "so much respect" for.

Crazy Kelly Bensimon Wants to Make You 'Hot' with New Book

People.com:
Kelly Bensimon doesn't just feel sexy – she wants you to feel sexy, too.

The Real Housewives of New York City star, 43, signed a deal with St. Martin's Press to write a book tentatively titled I Want to Make You Hot.

"Spend seven days with me and my expert friends and we'll have fun with exercise, eat better, dress amazing, have more fun and smile through a life that's too short," Bensimon says in a press release announcing her new project.

Bensimon, who says she feels "good about myself, my fluctuating weight and my life," hopes to inspire readers to develop a positive self-image. "Hot isn't about a waist size or a number on a scale," she says. "We can control how we look and feel, so let's get started together."

The guide – Bensimon's fourth book – will include over 40 recipes, along with tips on how to live a healthy life and have fun while doing it. It's tentatively scheduled to arrive in stores in 2012.

7 Craziest 'Real Housewives' of All Time

I love these kind of lists:
Atlanta -- Kim Zolciak. Some of you were probably immediately thinking NeNe Leakes here (who is by far the most entertaining), but we’re going to have to go with Kim. Kim is more ... unsettling crazy. Her smoking, her drinking, her taking advantage of Kandi, her dating women then dating men, her outfit when she recorded "Tardy for the Party"! If you sit down and make a list (like some insane people we know), Kim comes out on top.

New York -- Kelly Bensimon. We must admit, Kelly definitely seems more “sane” this season -- and Sonja Morgan seems more crazy. Actually, Sonja kind of seems like a totally different person, which is a major bummer, because she was our second favorite last season (behind Bethenny Frankel, of course). What’s up with all her diva behavior, pecking order talk, and her forgetting to wear pants?!

However, nothing will ever top Kelly on Scary Island last year, manic and running around with gummy bears. You have to do some other-worldly nutso stuff to top that. And as weird as Sonja’s acting this season (and how odd Ramona Singer is in general), Kelly still has them beat.

Crazy Kelly Bensimon Teach You How To Make A Hair Cocktail

Jezebel.com:
Last Friday night, Real Housewives of New York's Kelly spent the night at home, making an elixir for her long, flowing tresses — and filmed the whole thing for all of us to laugh at enjoy!

It would appear that Kelly's vapid, self-obsessed personality isn't just for the VH1 cameras — the entire video features a "you're so welcome I made this video for you, internet!" vibe. We can't help but mention the irony in that her ex-costar Bethenny Frankel also has a personal cocktail of sorts (Skinny Girl Margarita, anyone?) And somehow, we just don't believe that the combination of olive oil, sea salt, lemon juice and vodka is actually good for our hair. But thanks for the tutorial, Kelly — we feel slightly dumber now.
Hmmm, after seeking this and what with Bethenny newfound fortune, does Crazy Kelly still think she's "up here" while Bethenny's "down there"? Just asking.

Crazy Kelly Bensimon Does Sand Angels To Avoid Talking About Ramona

This is getting so much attention that I had to highlight it in a post of its own. And remember, she's not crazy (no disrespect to Al Sharpton, of course):

EOnline.com:
On last night's Real Housewives of NYC, Kelly and Sonja took a stroll on the beach to talk about Ramona, when Kelly decided the time to talk about Ramona was over and the time to make "sand angels" while your dog licks your face was just beginning.

Kelly actually does that every time she wants to avoid a conversation. So don't bring up a contentious topic with her when you're driving on the freeway unless you want to see how a "cement angel" can create a 17-car pile up and about a dozen real angels.

'Real Housewives of New York' Recap: Ramona Is 'Pinot Polar'

TheStir.cafemom.com:
This week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City was dubbed “Ramona’d” by Bravo, but it would have been more appropriately titled “Blondes Who Need Muzzles.” Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer were like two little out-of-control yapping dogs biting at people all night.

The first part of the show was a blur because Sonja would not shut up, and I couldn't hear a lot of what was being said about invites and missed invites and the problem with Quogue. Especially when speaking with Cindy Barshop, she wouldn’t let her string more than two words together without interrupting her, usually with an insult. The woman has no filter and big lungs because she doesn’t pause for a breath as she rambles/mumbles.

One thing I was able to make out was that she’s “really well known” for breaking the ice between people. If you remember a few weeks ago, she also proclaimed herself to be “such a great gay icon.” Apparently her talents are known far and wide ... at least to her. Anyway, this week she was determined to do some ice breaking between Kelly Bensimon and Ramona via a surprise attack while Kelly’s kids were present. Brilliant ... not!

Cindy at least had the sense to warn Kelly and tell her not to bring her kids, which was a cool move on her part, but it’s totally going to come back and bite her in the ass because Kelly then confronted Sonja about it and told her in no uncertain terms that it wouldn’t be happening. Stay tuned for Sonja to freak out on Cindy for daring to step on her toes.

Just when it seemed Sonja was going to monopolize the episode with her bad behavior, in waltzed Ramona demanding Pinot Grigio here, insulting people there, and wearing one of the ugliest maroon-colored tracksuits I’ve ever seen.

At Cindy’s birthday party that wasn’t a birthday party in the very unfashionable town of Quogue (which Sonja wouldn’t stoop to enter), Ramona was out of control. LuAnn de Lesseps coined an awesome term for her behavior: “Pinot Polar.” She said when Ramona drinks, you never know what you’re going to get. Cindy and her party guests got Ramona the psycho drunk.

Which Self-Professed ‘Classy’ Real Housewife of New York Is Actually Classy? Anybody?

Terrific article on the Real Housewives of New York City from NYmag.com:
LuAnn de Lesseps

Why She Thinks She's Classy:
-Has branded herself that way through many forms of media, including her book and her dance single, “Money Can’t Buy You Class.”
-Appears to believe in an osmosis-type superiority that results from partnering with Europeans, as evidenced by her aristocratic ex-husband, a Count who gave LuAnn the title she will never relinquish, even in death, and current boyfriend Jacques, a French David Schwimmer look-alike in the wine distribution business.
-Is against discussing pubic hairstyles, even in a friend’s private spa [see: Cindy Barshop].

Why She Might Not Actually Be Classy:
-Wrote a book stating class is the art of being yourself, then later admitted that she wasn’t “being herself” because she didn’t actually write it.
-Clings to pretentious Countess title, although it has not officially been recognized by anyone in the royal family.
-Is completely unaware when she’s being condescending toward others, as shown in the episode when she made a classroom of inner city girls sit through a reading of “her” book, and in every episode when she moans out at least a couple of “Dahhhhling”s.
-Seems to wear excessively large turquoise jewelry pieces for the express purpose of reminding everyone that she’s half Native American.
-Tone-deaf dance single and accompanying video.

Jill Zarin

Why She Thinks She's Classy:
-Co-runs the oft-mentioned Zarin Fabric Warehouse, which only carries the best of the best, and also “runs in a fabulous circle of people” — her tagline during the opening credits of seasons 1-3.
-Has now changed her tagline to “Good or bad, I know who I am, and I own it,” which speaks again to the Countess-endorsed art of being yourself.
-Enjoys taking the less fortunate under her wing, meaning friends who are going through a sad sack period or who are currently without husbands.
-Is a loyal wife to mensch Bobby, a gem who reflects well on her.
-Spearheaded an expensive redecoration of her Upper East Side apartment that landed it the cover of Traditional Home magazine.

Why She Might Not Actually Be Classy:
-Says she knows who she is and owns it, but continually has no idea when she’s being awful and then denies culpability.
-Appears to begrudge the successes (both financial and emotional) of friends once they emerge from their sad sack periods.
-One of the biggest shit talkers on the show, also has a habit of aggressively probing into details of the others lives, most recently when she met housewife Cindy Barshop for the first time and immediately began pressing Cindy about why she has infant twins when she’s clearly old and single.
-Made sending her daughter to fat camp part of her own story arc.
-Related: Launched a line of body shapes for young girls called “Skweez.”

Ramona Singer

Why She Thinks She's Classy:
-Prides herself on being an independent businesswoman and received the “Celebrity Entrepreneur of the Year” award in recognition of her clothing resale company; also has a line of skincare products, HSN jewelry, and Ramona brand Pinot Grigio.
-Designs and sells faith-based jewelry with husband Mario.
-Is happily married, but extremely vocal about the fact that she will never rely on a man for his money.
-Tends to be instinctively true to herself (especially when breaking into dance) and makes a sincere effort to be true with others, going so far as to tell housewife Alex’s husband Simon that she found him creepy, then openly retracting that statement after he grew on her like a fungus. -Named her daughter Avery.

Why She Might Not Actually Be Classy:
-Pushes a faith-based jewelry line that she insists is about faith, when it’s really about making money.
-Unlike Jill Zarin, does very little talking behind her girlfriends’ backs, but does a fair amount of shit talking to their faces.
-Along the same lines, conducts extremely inappropriate employee interviews, telling one young woman — fresh out of college — that she needed to do something about her acne and then handed her a Ramona skincare product.
-Recognized by the other women as something of a spaz, especially when she gets a little Pinot in her.

Kelly Bensimon Helps Build Water Wells In Haiti

No way am I near being convinced that Crazy Kelly doesn't belong in a psycho ward, but give her credit when it's due (of course, that kid doesn't look too happy being held on to by a raving lunatic, but hey):
Cause Celeb highlights a celebrity’s work on behalf of a specific cause. This week, we speak with Kelly Bensimon, former model and star of Bravo TV’s "The Real Housewives of New York City," about her involvement with Generosity Water, an organization that works to provide clean water to people in developing countries. Bensimon recently returned from a trip with Generosity Water to Haiti.

Generosity Water’s goal is to set up wells in villages that are protected from contaminants and organize water committees to distribute and protect this water. So far the organization has installed 131 wells worldwide.

Bensimon, a Rockford, Ill., native, has two daughters with her ex-husband, fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon.

Interviewed By: Brittany Fuerstenberg

Q: Can you explain to us the goal of Generosity Water?

Bensimon: The goal of Generosity Water is simply to bring water to countries in need.

Q: You just returned from Haiti with Generosity Water. Did you have any memorable experiences while you were there that you’d like to share with us?

Bensimon: It was really unbelievable. One of the most important things that we have to remember when we visit a place like Haiti is that [in their] hierarchy of need, water is at the top. Close to 1 billion people don’t have access to clean water worldwide, and 3.5 million people die from water related illnesses every year. So basically, [if] you want to be a humanitarian and a build a hospital, you can’t [just] build a hospital if you’re not stopping the reason people are being [sent] there, like for water-related illnesses.

But, one thing that really struck me was that in Haiti the government donated this plot of land, Canara, and they said, "listen, you know your homes have been devastated so we’re going to offer this land to you," but there was one problem: there was no water.

The wells in Haiti are more expensive than they are in other places because you have to dig deeper. The actual wells that are built in Haiti are $6,000 versus the normal $3,000. The most important thing to remember is people can survive weeks without food; they can only survive three days without water. When I saw young girls, 10-year-olds, walking around with 40 pounds of water on their heads that I couldn’t even carry, and they weren’t in school, I thought to myself: “No. You go to school. I’ll take care of your water.”

Crazy Kelly Bensimon To Write Weekly Column For amNew York

Because wacky people like to read too, no disrespect, of course, to "Al Sharpton":
Kelly Killoren Bensimon, now in her fourth season on "Real Housewives of New York City," is going to return to her roots in the publishing world with a weekly column in amNew York, the freebie newspaper.

"It will be a little bit of everything," said SoHo resident Bensimon, "fashion, food, accessories, restaurants, sports, the arts."

When she was married to former Hachette Filipacchi Creative Director Gilles Bensimon, she was the editor of now-defunct Elle Accessories. Bensimon said she got her start as a $100-a-week writer for Hamptons Magazine and was one of the people working on Gotham in the early days. "This is my first love," she said of the writing world.

The Real Housewives of NYC: What Do They Do in 'Real' Life?

Zimbio.com:
The Real Housewives of New York City cast has just embarked on its fourth season for lots more fundraising gala drama, Hamptons poolside chats, and "work/family balance" struggles. We know that Alex McCord has an eccentric hubby, Bethenny Frankel broke off from the franchise to become her own star, and Kelly Bensimon loves to be seen with beautiful people, but who are these women, really? They are most importantly caricatures of themselves, but they must have some semblance of a job, or at least a hobby. Here's a rundown of the key facts about the women we love to hate and hate to love.

Alex McCord

"I've always had opinions, but now people know it."

Profession: Designer
Alex takes charge on design projects like the renovation of Manhattan's oldest camera store, Willoughbys. She also is an avid philanthropist in New York City, of course.

Side Projects: Model and Author! Alex recently signed with New York Model Management. McCord and her hubby wrote a child-rearing book, Little Kids, Big City -- which was ironic considering their tykes run around like monkeys injected with Coke Zero all day.

Family: Hubby, Two sons, Two Cats & a Brooklyn Brownstone. Alex is married to red-head standout, Simon van Kempen, who formerly managed hotels and just recently started a social media company. They have two sons, Francois, 8 and Johan, 5. The Brooklyn-based fam has two cats.

LuAnn de Lesseps

"I thought I had it good before, but I'm just getting started."

Profession: Author (Like Every Housewife,) Wannabe Singer, "Manners Commentator"
Now that she's no longer so busy being a stately, well-mannered, countess (whatever the heck that means), she has time to be an aspiring author and really bad singer. Ex-Countess Lesseps released an etiquette book in 2009, Class With The Countess, but then she admitted she didn't actually write it. Smart. She also has a column with highly esteemed magazine OK! called "What Would the Countess Do."

She also gave singing a whack -- why not? She began dabbling in music with the dance single "Money Can't Buy You Class." We bet that's what she really thinks. She also appears on TV shows like Joy Behar and Larry King Live as a "manners commentator," but we think the shows just see it as a farce.

Side projects: See 'Profession' above.

Family: Single Mom of Two With New Boyfriend
Formerly the wife of Ferdinand de Lesseps of Suez Canal royalty (he allegedly cheated on her), LuAnn has taken to new boyfriend Jacques Azoulay, the CEO of Gabriella Wines Importer and Distributor. She's been busy spending time in the Hamptons with the new beau and her children, Victoria and Noel.

Crazy Kelly Bensimon—Will Her Single Status Be Big Storyline?

Couldn't be that Kelly's just as crazy around men as she is around most of the other people on the planet:
While Kelly Bensimon may have gone on a couple of dates while filming the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City, she refused to make her love life a big storyline.

Why? Isn't that prime material for a reality show?

Sure, but Bensimon says...

"To be honest with you, I kind of took a sabbatical during filming just because I don't want these women kind of speculating about what I'm doing and what I'm not doing," Bensimion recently told me. "I did go on one or two dates with some guys that were really really nice, but...I'm just good with myself and besides I have two unbelievable kids and I'm so proud to be their mother."

As for sexed-up Sonja Morgan's possible new hot boyfriend Brian Farrell, Bensimon said, "With these women, it's maybe their boyfriend one day and you know who knows what it's going to be tomorrow. You never know."

And while there were times during last season that Bensimon didn't exactly come off in the best light, she's confident things will be different now because they have a new producer. "He came and spoke to me and he said, 'Listen, I want people to know Kelly,'" Bensimon said. "He's like, 'I have idea who you are...Do you work?' Nobody knows that I work! Nobody knows that I have kids! People think all I do all day long is make pancakes."
