Bench Warrant Issued For Arrest Of Gretchen Rossi

This is funny when you consider how much Slade should be in jail for failing to pay child support, while Gretchen should just be arrested for being stupid:

A bench warrant for the arrest of The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi was ordered by a judge on Thursday, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.


Rossi and her ex-boyfriend Jay Photoglou have been locked in a nasty legal battle and when she failed to make a court appearance on Thursday, a judge issued the warrant for her arrest and set her bail at $2,500, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.


The judge gave Gretchen a break, and continued the warrant until September 15, meaning she has until that date to appear in court, and she will not be arrested.


The blonde bombshell reality TV star was in Las Vegas on Thursday for a promotional event.


She and Photoglou are suing each other for libel, defamation and slander. He filed a notice with the court detailing proof that Gretchen was served with the papers notifying her of the appearance, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained those documents.


A process server declared that he tracked down Gretchen and her boyfriend Slade Smiley to a Palm Springs hotel to serve her with the papers, and he videotaped the successful encounter.


The documents state that when the process server served the documents to Gretchen she said “Can you believe these f**king people?” which they recorded on the video.

Tickets go on sale Aug. 19.


The tour kicks off on Atlantic City, NJ on Oct. 1, and also stops in Chicago and Atlanta.


"Bravo viewers like to truly engage in the shows they are passionate about," says Ellen Stone, Bravo’s senior vice president of marketing in a statement. "With The Real Housewives Live Tour, we are able to give our fans a unique, hands-on experience with their favorite cast members across franchises that they can't experience anywhere else."


Tickets begin at $49.50. Fans can buy the $170-per-ticket "Red Carpet Package," which allows them to walk the red carpet, sit in "premium" seats and attend a pre-show cocktail party hosted by the reality stars.


Tickets will only be sold to those 21 and older in Chicago and Atlanta.

Slade Smiley’s Ex Says He Owes $160K In Child Support And Is Still Not Paying

Besides any woman who shacks up with Charlie Sheen, I don't know of a dumber broad who stays with a guy who screams nothing but "TROUBLE!" than Gretchen Rossi:

More news to report in the ongoing child support case involving Real Housewives of Orange County star Slade Smiley, boyfriend of Gretchen Rossi.


Michelle Arroyo, Slade’s ex and mother of his son Grayson Smiley, is speaking out against him in a new interview. Michelle states that despite Slade’s claims on the recent reunion show that he is paying his child support, he is still a deadbeat dad who continues to fall further behind in his payments as Grayson‘s medical bills pile up. Grayson, 11, is suffering from a rare brain tumor.


“My son’s father, Slade Smiley, is a deadbeat dad,” says Michelle in the current issue of the National Enquirer. In fact court documents obtained by the mag show Slade is now owing a whopping $160,000 in child support, a vast increase from the $138,000 he owed back in February. Court documents also show he has only made $7,000 in payments over the last several years.


“I just want Slade to do his part as a father,” says Michelle. “We’ve been living with my sister for the past four years. I can’t work because of [Grayson's] illness.” Michelle states Grayson requires 24-hour care.


Slade was contacted to give his side of the story and the best he could come up with was copies of two $500 money orders he sent to Michelle as proof that he pays his child support. Slade also stated a $20,000 donation to his son’s foundation was made on his behalf by a production company. He however had no response when it came to the 160k he owes. Slade’s driver’s license was suspended back in January due to the delinquent child support.


Michelle adds that she isn’t satisfied with things and takes Gretchen to task for stating in a recent Bravo blog that Slade can prove he’s been paying his support. “I would love to see the documents that Gretchen is talking about,” fumed Michelle. “The court records don’t lie. He needs to start acting like a father and taking some responsibility.”


In the meantime, there is a website set up for little Grayson for those who would like to contribute to his foundation. The website is Amazinggray.org. Grayson has been battling his brain tumor since 2006 and continues to require surgeries to treat the disease.

Vicki Gunvalson Denies Cheating With Boyfriend Brooks Ayers, Says She’s In Love With Him

Gee, that was quick. I mean didn't Vicki just renew her vows with Dom like a year ago? And now she's on her way to being divorced and "in love" with another dude?!? There's something real fishy in the water here:

Very negative publicity and unflattering reports of arrests for a DUI and unpaid child support in tow, Vicki Gunvalson is standing by her man.


In the current issue of UsWeekly magazine, the Real Housewives of Orange County star not only defends beau Brooks Ayers, but also denies she cheated on her estranged husband Donn Gunvalson with him. A report came out a week ago with an ex-girlfriend of Brooks stating Vicki had been involved with him since 2007. Even more puzzling was the handwritten letter Vicki sent to a judge on behalf on Brooks last August, two months before filing for divorce from Donn.


“We never had an affair,” states Vicki, 49 of her romance with Brooks, 44. It however appears Vicki took a page from the book of her BFF Tamra Barney as the UsWeekly article states she has been dating Brooks for the past 8 months. Just when did Vicki file for divorce? Exactly eight months ago in October. Did she start dating Brooks hours days after filing for divorce???


The report of the 8-month romance is even more surprising because when the reports about Brooks first came out, Vicki downplayed their relationship claiming “I’ve only just started dating this guy, we’ve had like three dates.”


Vicki also takes a page out of Gretchen Rossi’s handbook when she denies Brooks was a deadbeat dad despite his two arrests for being just that. “He fell back on payments,” she admits but says he’s paid $100,000 to his ex over a span of years. “Is that a deadbeat dad?” asks Vicki.


And during her Sunday night appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Vicki went a step further when she revealed she is in love with Brooks adding, “I knew everything. There wasn’t any secrets and lies.”


When asked about the hypocrisy of her situation, you know, being that she has called out Slade Smiley for not paying his child support once or twice, Vicki attempted to defend herself. “If the viewers saw me the last year” said Vicki. “I never talked about Slade. It’s his business and his life and I don’t want him in mine.” Well those in glass houses have no business throwing rocks.

The catfighting appears to be on an endless loop over there in the land of The Real Housewives of Orange County.


And I'm not just talking about the mud-slinging reunion show...


Tamra Barney is fighting back once again. Her war of words with Slade Smiley escalated yesterday when Gretchen Rossi's controversial boyfriend defended himself against her claims he was a deadbeat dad.


He also slammed Barney for what he says is trying to contact his son Grayson's mother, Michelle Arroyo.


"We became friends through a mutual friend," Barney tells me of her relationship with Smiley's ex. "I feel extremely sorry for her and my heart breaks for her and Grayson. Michelle is a very strong woman and went out of her way to contact me today to tell me that she was proud of me for standing up for her and Grayson and to keep my head up."


Despite their very public displays of hatred, Barney says Smiley's words don't hurt her. "While he accused me of many false and bold lies throughout the entire season, I am not crying to the press about them," she said. "Why? Simply because his allegations are false. The bottom line is that I don't care what Slade has to say about me. Like Gretchen, he thrives on lies and manipulation."

Days after Gretchen sort of made a valid point called Tamra a hypocrite for her actions on the Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra is now responding. In a new interview, Tamra refers to Gretchen as being “obsessed” with her and also makes reference to her legal issues and dead-beat boyfriend Slade Smiley.

“Gretchen’s constantly bashing me in interviews is nothing more than a clever diversion, created so the attention is not on the three lawsuits in which she is currently involved and the problems with her [boyfriend Slade's] past-due child support,” Tamra tells E! Online via an email she sent to them. “She has NO knowledge of the issues I had with Jeana [Keough], yet she constantly finds reasons to talk about me in interviews, on the show and on her Bravo blogs.”

Tamra continued, “She is nothing more than obsessed with me…You would think with all her legal problems, she would use her time more wisely. I truly feel sorry for her and hope that she lets go of the anger she has in her heart as I did for Jeana Keough.”

Ouch. Tamra also promises all of her drama with Gretchen will be addressed on the upcoming 2-part reunion show.

Regardless of whose you're on I don't see how anyone sane could defend Slade Smiley barely seeing his kids, much less not providing child support. The guy is a loser and Tamra has every right to say so. Of course, Tamra's so conceited that she thinks everybody is "obsessed" with her, but in this case that's neither here nor there. Gretchen really...get a clue, because while you're probably getting it good between the sheets, your man's shady past speaks for itself.

P.S. the whole walking off the set during a reunion show has really gotten lame, can Bravo purchase some handcuffs or something to keep these women on the damn couch?

Even though ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Gretchen Rossi has talked all about how she wants children, it seems that marriage isn’t something she sees happening anytime soon.


Rossi, who is dating Slade Smiley, recently revealed that she isn’t concerned about getting married to him, states Wonderwall. “Slade and I are just kind of happy and content and don’t necessarily feel like we need to have a piece of paper to prove that love and commitment,” Rossi commented.


And while she does hope to have a family one day, she is not in a rush: “[R]ight now I’m focused on my businesses and growing those. When the timing is right, we’ll move on to that step of our life.”

Gretchen Rossi Wins Partial Legal Victory Vs. Ex-Boyfriend

Gretchen Rossi has won a partial legal victory in her ongoing legal battle with ex-boyfriend, Jay Photoglou, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.


The former couple is suing each other for libel, defamation and slander, and The Real Housewives of Orange County star had also requested a protective order, most of which was granted on Friday.


According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the protective order prohibits Rossi or Photoglou from discussing the "sexual history of either party, either party's financial information,” plus home and cellular telephone numbers and home addresses.


Photoglou's attorney, Bryan Freedman tells RadarOnline.com, "We were not surprised by this ruling although we feel Rossi's sexual history with Photoglou should not be subject to the protective order since she has openly told numerous third parties that the two never had sexual relations and never dated.”


The O.C. hotty wanted the judge to impose sanctions on Photoglou for having to seek the protective order, which the court denied.


“Our next move is to take Rossi's deposition within the next few weeks,” Freedman tells us.

Are Gretchen and Slade engaged? According to rumors, the Real Housewives of Orange County lovebirds got engaged–in front of the Bravo cameras–at the end of season six. A rumor last year, Gretchen Rossi’s makeup line, Gretchen Christine Beaute was, ‘shady’ with the news people who ordered the makeup from Gretchen’s website were instructed to use Slade Smiley’s Paypal address.


One year later Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley are now officially engaged in a lawsuit related to Gretchen’s makeup line, Gretchen Christine Beaute, the lawsuit-we’ve seen the documents–filed by Gretchen’s business partner-Gretchen’s long time and now former makeup artist and extremely angry former friend RonAnn Meyers.


RonAnn appeared in season five of RHOOC in Bravo footage which seems to bolster her claim she was a partner in Gretchen’s makeup line. (One wonders if Bravo is happy about having yet another cast member embroiled in a lawsuit where Bravo footage might be aired in court, a la former Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Danielle Staub?)


On April 13, 2011, RonAnn filed a lawsuit naming Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley as the defendants in a 37-page lawsuit. Some of RonAnn’s claims: ‘breach of oral contract’, ‘fraud/deceit’ and ‘fraudulent conspiracy’. RonAnn is seeking in excess of $100,000 in damages and a trial before a jury.


In other Gretchen Rossi court related news, Gretchen has until next week to cough up another big chunk of change, over $40,000 to her ex-boyfriend Jay Photoglou.


The latest lawsuit involves both Gretchen and Slade as defendants. Slade’s other court case, Slade’s October 2010 court claim he’s too destitute and indigent to pay back child support for his son Grayson who suffers from a rare form of brain cancer. While Slade’s case has yet to be resolved a judge ordered Slade to ‘get a job’ outside of the entertainment and real estate title company business.

Will Gretchen ever wake up and get away from this guy? Slade Smiley is slime, he's not worth it. But then, come to think maybe they just deserve each other.

As we previously reported -- Rossi and Photoglou have been embroiled in a protracted court battle ... after she sued him for defamation, claiming he trashed her in the media.


Jay's attorney, Bryan Freedman, tells us Gretchen has until next week to pay up ... or else.

"Tamra [Barney] definitely turns it on for the cameras," Gretchen tells me of her co-star during a visit to my HDNet show. "She and I get along really well off camera, but when we're on camera she's just mean and evil. Not nice."


Gretchen didn't stop there. Over drinks on the set of 'Naughty But Nice' at the Gansevoort Park Hotel in NYC, the blond bombshell explained why she's fine not being the star of her show.


"I think [Tamra] wants to be the star of the show, and that's fine with me," she said. "Because if she wants to be the star of the show, that means she's a train wreck, so I'm totally OK with that."

One of the storylines of The Real Housewives of Orange County season six, the inexplicable, ‘Will Gretchen Rossi marry Slade Smiley?’ storyline. According to sources, Slade and Gretchen got engaged, the engagement scene to be aired in the final episode. A thoroughly bizarre storyline, the beautiful, in her early 30′s, bright and bubbly Gretchen Rossi getting engaged to, in his forties, can’t find a job or pay child support for his cancer stricken young son, Slade Smiley. In season four, the bright, bubbly 30-yr-old Gretchen was engaged to cancer stricken Jeff Beitzel , 54, who died on September 13, 2008. At the end of season two Slade had dumped original Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Jo De La Rosa. Slade and Jo departed to LA where the two landed the first Bravo Real Housewive’s spinoff, Jo and Slade: Date My Ex. By season five, Slade was back on RHOOC as Gretchen’s live-in lover.


In court documents filed in the fall of 2009, Smiley claimed he was ‘destitute’ and ‘indigent’. According to a recent report from the OC Register, a judge recently ordered Slade Smiley to find work, get a job outside of the ‘entertainment/TV and title industries’. An unusual order unless you’d read the original court documents filed by Smiley.

According to the Register, Slade Smiley owes $138,857.64 in back child support to Smiley’s ex-girlfriend Michelle Arroyo. Smiley and Arroyo’s son, Grayson Arroyo-Smiley, 10, has a rare form of brain cancer, diffuse fibrillary astrocytoma. According to the Register, Smiley, who has been seen driving around Costa Mesa, had his driver’s license suspended on January 8th for non-payment of child support. The most interesting detail from Pedro and the Watcher at the OC Register:


‘Last but not least, a judge recently ordered Smiley to seek work outside of the entertainment/TV or title industries, because he’s been unable to obtain money through those ventures for extended periods of time.’

“Since when did you become a tax guru?” asked Real Housewife of Orange County, Gretchen Rossi, of a fellow actress during her spot on a recent Turbo Tax commercial. The ad aired during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, prompting “Housewives” fans everywhere to wonder the same of the reality show star herself.


Rossi is best-known not for her financial acumen, but for her former engagement to the late Jeff Beitzel. During her tenure on the Bravo TV series, speculation abounded around the authenticity of her love for the ailing millionaire. Though Rossi insisted that her relationship with the much older man was heartfelt, she found herself in the midst of cheating controversies prior to Beitzel’s death.


According to TMZ, Rossi inherited $2.5 million from Beitzel, which makes her Turbo Tax gig all the more puzzling. Are Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley still together? Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley are not only still together, but reportedly engaged, and pushing for their own spinoff series from Real Housewives of OC, claims reports.


Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley remain two of the most familiar faces on the Housewives brand. But could they be heading to their own reality show?


Smiley has been with Housewives since the first episode of the original Housewives (Orange County). At the time, he was serious with Jo De La Rosa. They broke up. Then he dated Lauri Waring. Then they broke up.


In season four, Gretchen joined Real Housewives. In season five, she started dating Slade. Now reports claim the couple are engaged and even pushing for their own spinoff series. In the last episode of season six, the couple reportedly reveal their engagement on Housewives.

God, who'd want to watch those two on their own show? Funny how some 'Housewives' just don't seem to get the kind of appeal you have to have on viewers for them to want to see you on your own show. Like her or not, Bethenny has it. The only other person I could see having the 'it' factor that you need to carry a show on her own is Caroline Manzo (because of the dynamics of her family) and maybe that's part of the reason why her son's are getting their own show.

Gretchen Rossi May Be Forced To Pay $40,000 In Attorney Fees To Ex

Another Real Housewife may be facing financial woes this holiday season and it isn’t from buying holiday gifts.


Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi may be forced to pay ex-boyfriend Jay Photoglou a whopping $40,000 in attorney fees as a result of an anti-SLAPP motion filed by Photoglou in relation to a defamation lawsuit she filed against him.


Photoglou is also suing Rossi for libel, slander and five other counts. The lawsuit was originally filed in Los Angeles but for procedural reasons, was re-filed in Orange County.


Orange County Superior Court Judge Gregory Munoz tentatively ruled on Wednesday that Photoglou be awarded fees and costs of $40,799.38. An official ruling will be finalized Thursday.


This could mean more bad news for the platinum blonde reality star who faced another legal blow two months ago when the same judge threw out the crux of her defamation lawsuit against Photoglou, including claims of defamation, slander and portrayal in a false light.
