Jessica Simpson Album

Jessica Simpson, the daughter of a former Baptist minister and former Sunday school teacher, was born in suburban Texas. At the tender age of 12 Jessica Simpson started singing in the choir of the Baptist. During that time, she tried out for the Mickey Mouse Club, without success. As you know, The Mickey Mouse Club was featured with the likes of fellow pop singers Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Justin Timberland and many others.

Did you know? Jessica Simpson made his first record while attending JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas, when he surprised the head of a small contemporary Christian record label. Jessica Simpson recorded his first album in three years. Unfortunately, the label dropped and the album was never released. Jessica Simpson was so proud of her album that she lost her last year to tour and promote her demo album. His grandmother bank rolled the project. I think Jessica called her 2004 album Holiday "Rejoyce The Christmas Album" after the name of her grandmother Joyce. Oh yes, she finally managed to earn their GED. Jessica and her father decided to tour the circuit of the Christian Conference of Youth, where he had the opportunity to perform with the likes of Kirk Franklin, God's Property and CeCe Winans. After each performance, sold copies of his album.

Despite growing up as a Christian singer, album of Jessica Simpson came into the hands of Tommy Mottola of Columbia Records, who thought he had great potential to be a pop singer. So I hired her. Even today, much of his music has some Christian influences.

Jessica Simpson's debut album was produced in late 1999. The name of the album was "Sweet Kisses", which the U.S. top 25 Billboard 200 and the top forty of the UK charts. I have to say that two million copies sold in the U.S.

"I Want to Love You Forever" platinum single rose to the top 5 U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles and top ten in Canada and the United Kingdom.

"Where You Are", a duet with boyfriend Nick Lachey of 98 degrees was much loved by the radio and turned it into a success.

"I think I'm in love with you" top 40 hit in the U.S. and 20 in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Jessica Simpson also won some prestigious awards as the 2000 Teen Choice Awards for Artist boot option. I think she also won her first single "Where Are You".

Did you know? Jessica Simpson appeared on the 98 Degrees video "My Everything".

In 2001 Jessica Simpson "Irresistible" top ten on the Billboard 200 and the top twenty of the Canadian album chart. Sales of the album was certified gold in the U.S. alone by selling 500,000 copies. Although the single "Irresistible" reached the top twenty in the U.S., Canada, UK, and top forty in Australia.

"A Little Bit" was released, but failed to considerable success. In 2002, Columbia Records released an album called Remix EP This is the electro-dance remix containing remixes of Simpson's biggest hits.

Shortly after she married Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson released her third album, "In This Skin" in the summer of 2003. This release of her debut album at the show with husband Nick Lachey. Once again the album was not a great success. In the spring of 2004, the charts with a special edition collection, which reached number two on the Billboard 200 and the forty top of the charts in the UK. I think her marriage to Nick Lachey really helped the success of the album, which incidentally happens to be his greatest success after selling nearly three million copies in the U.S. "With You" the single was a huge success.

Jessica Simpson made her first major film appearance as Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard, in the summer of 2005. The film was number one in the U.S. box office chart a fresh take more than thirty million dollars. She also sang the new version of the soundtrack of the movie "These Boots Are Made for Walkin '."

Jessica Simpson track won a People's Choice Award for favorite song from a movie in early 2006.

Jessica Simpson broke ties with Columbia Records and went on with Epic Records recording their new album "A Public Affair," released last August.
